Crafternoon Tea
Almost since the beginning of my music journey, playing live music around Auckland, I have been playing my tunes at the Crafternoon Tea Markets. I’ll be playing at their Albany Market this Saturday the 1st of June from 10am-2pm, so make sure to make it one of your long weekend stops! A perfect family friendly event with food and coffee, as well as sweet treats for dessert. Listen to my tunes while you wander around and if you haven’t seen me live before, come and have a chat.
Wow, I could rave about this market for so long! Crafternoon Tea is a perfect example of the high quality standard that local businesses hold themselves to here in Auckland. The stall holders have shown me the many reasons why it is so important to support your local businesses. It not only lifts up and funds the community, but it also allows your peers to make a living doing something they love. There are a wide range of stalls at the Crafternoon Tea Markets and you’ll see a lot of familiar faces when you start making it your regular weekend window-shop. You’ll find sweet treats, a stunning range of jewellery, kids clothes and toys, bags and accessories, homeware, art and ornaments. It’s the perfect spot to wander on the weekends with your friends and family, or go on a mission looking for a gift. This is one of the most unique markets I’ve ever been to, and I have been recommending it to all of my friends.
Through this market I also had the opportunity to collaborate with an incredible business woman and become a brand ambassador for Wristocracy! I had purchased their bracelet sets for myself and as gifts for my mum, and as we continued to support each other in both our business and personal lives, our pairing up made so much sense. Now I wear her bracelet sets everywhere I go, they add so much to an outfit and it’s fun to stack them and make different combinations. Wristocracy have also started a new rewards system so definitely make them one of your stops this Saturday.
You can catch the Crafternoon Tea Markets at the Albany Village Hall on the first Saturday of every month and in Kingsland on the 3rd Saturday of every month. They also do pop up markets in places like Mount Albert and Grey Lynn.
